Bisbee, Arizona – a town with deep Company ties – is one of 20 towns that made the ballot of USA Today’s Best Historic Small Town contest, but needs your vote to take top honors.

2016 Bisbee

Don’t delay though – you can vote once a day only through Monday when the contest closes at noon ET.

The contest draws attention to communities with big histories and small populations – less than 25,000 people.

Bisbee definitely has the history to win. Underground mining began in this southeastern Arizona town in 1880 (the Company began mining there in 1881) and continued with little interruption until all activities ceased in 1975.
