Tips for Preparing Your Home for Winter

With temperatures getting colder and Winter right around the corner the Townsite Maintenance Group would like to pass on a few “food for thought” items:

  • Disconnect garden hoses from hose bibs – this will help prevent the line freezing and breaking.
  • Clean Your Gutters – this will assist in taking water away from the house and prevent flooding.
  • Appliances – we do not convert gas stoves or dryers, but please contact Townsite Maintenance to hook-up appliances.  (633-6015)
  • If you have yard drains clean them out – this will prevent flooding
  • Check your smoke alarm batteries – test your alarms monthly and change the batteries as needed

If there are any items that need to be repaired contact Townsite Maintenance at 633-6015 and leave a message.  Someone will contact you to confirm.

Bagdad Clinic Under New Management Starting April 2013

Dear Bagdad Community Member,

I am pleased to announce that effective April 1, 2013, Yavapai Regional Medical Center (YRMC) will be the new medical provider for the Bagdad community. We are confident this new partnership will be beneficial to you and your family.

In addition to managing the local clinic, YRMC also can provide a wide variety of services, ranging from wellness programs specifically designed for our community to inpatient care when needed. We have been assured of a smooth transition from our current medical provider and continuity with local health-care services.

We will keep you informed as we move forward with the transition to YRMC.
